A Persian at the Opera

Besides Erik my favorite character from the Phantom of the Opera. This man knew Erik in the past and is possibly the only man who understood the tormented genius. Sadly Daroga gets little love outside of the novel he's only in three movie adaptions: The 1925 Lon Chaney version (they change character and make him a member of the French Secret Police and give him the name Ledoux); The 1989 animated version (a masterpeice and recommend it to anyone); and the 1993 movie with David Staller as the Phantom.
